Literary evening of this name, held in connection with the Day of Granting State Language Status to the Karakalpak Language on December 1.

A literary evening was held on the occasion of December 1 – the Day when the Karakalpak language was granted the status of the state language.
A literary evening titled “My Mother Tongue – My Oron” was held at the Nukus Transport Technical School on the occasion of December 1st – the Day when the Karakalpak language was granted the status of the state language.
The purpose of the event, held with the participation of pupils and students engaged in scientific and educational work, was to increase respect for the native language among young people, preserve and develop national values, as well as strengthen the feeling of love for the language.
At the evening, students:
Lectures on the history and stages of development of the Karakalpak language;
Poems about the native language;
Art readings and stage performances;
Samples of national music and art were presented.
During the event, it was especially emphasized that the native language is the spiritual wealth of the people, a guarantee of national identity and the future. Participants want to preserve the language and pass it on to future generations in its pure form.
